as we had talk with a J.E. there. he told us, that there is no significance of NUMBER OF STARS on loco shed marking..
then he told me,if it was so, then he had suggested his seniors to put 5 STARS here...hahaha..
i donno why IZN LOCO have shed marking with TWO STARS...
someone plz clear it..

@Shirish Paranjape sir- thanks sir for admiring the changes of IZN...right now IZN is my home since 1990 and for whole life time i and our family is permanent residence of Izzatnagar(bareilly)..anytime any interested railfan most welcome here..
still anyone can see two IZN steam at Workshop in ruining bad condition.need care and support primarily from railfans.

@Aseem, you are very right! My dad was posted at IAF base. For the first few months, we had to rent a place in the Railway Colony, while waiting our staff quarter to be allocated. Our rented "railway quarter" was very close to IZN steam shed.

In 1970-71, I was living a km away from IZN, which only had MG steam locos then! What a change...
