Thanks for sharing this pic. This loco is very special to me. It has hauled my Kalka Shatabdi and Swarn Shatabdi many times,when I travelled by them during late 90's before electrification. It had a shatabdi livery then. Seems it was one of TKD's shatabdi special locos of years gone by

Also notice the green lamp on top of the driver's window. The roof is quite high; may be IR will add an AC(?).

According to me, this is a terrible looking loco, an unwanted modification to WDM X series. So sad they defaced it this way

Well, well .... Alco meets EMD, and after all these years, it took an Indian company to do that .... :-) The rounded lines of the cab give it an appearance similar to WDP-4 #20012 'Baaz'. I wonder if the end-on cab is an improvement since LHF running will now be a pain on this loco.
