According to me, this is a terrible looking loco, an unwanted modification to WDM X series. So sad they defaced it this way

Well, well .... Alco meets EMD, and after all these years, it took an Indian company to do that .... :-) The rounded lines of the cab give it an appearance similar to WDP-4 #20012 'Baaz'. I wonder if the end-on cab is an improvement since LHF running...

I initially thought the loco was a WDP4. Are these changes done by loco sheds, or are they done by DLW?
