* Jimmy, at the time of impact Mewar express had started to move. It seems Goa Exp LP must have seen the track ahead and would have tried to stop the train implying impact at a lower relative speed.

This portion of the track was washed off in a flood early this decade. In fact they prepared a temporary line beside the embankment and ran Sealdah-Lalgola trains.
