Whenever the semaphores are decommissioned or replaced by MACLs, usually a wooden crossbar "X" is placed on the semaphore arm, or the arm is taken off. Here I see no signs on semaphores with their arms in place, not sure why?

I am friends with all these railfans on Facebook, but unfortunately at the Convention had very little interaction with them. Maybe next time.
