A brief comment: Pics are good but try to get closer to the subject before you shoot. If it is a point-n-shoot cam, the subject appears much further off in the viewfinder than in the actual lens (in proportion). So let it fill up about 75% of the viewfinder. Happy clicking!!

From the snap it doesn't appear as if the panto is up. Think the loco is dead.

Since when did ET (from what I could make out in the pic) locos start getting this livery? Nice shot, though, with the twin beam headlamps and flasher showing!!

Sorry Vivek, I was using the >> button to scroll through the images. So I posted the comment to the previous photo before I saw this one.

Twin WCAMs? The Nagercoil Exp is a 17-18 coach rake, why does it need twin locos?
Did you happen to notice if the second loco was dead or had its panto up? I can't make out from the photo.

Is that pipe going right over the mechanism of the switch so the indicator is on the other side?

Beautiful rake, but when oh when will IR actually *run* this rake in regular passenger service?
At this rate it will go from Safdarjung straight to the National Rail Musuem.

These are almost as long as a passenger coach!
