Many thanks to N. Senthilkumaran for uploading the pics of the M8 loco in SL. Is there a (fan) following for this loco amongts the SL railway enthusiasts? I request a detailed shot of the loco's bogies/trucks to clarify a few doubts.

I think this is the first photo in the database which has two Shunters MUed. Is this very common in VSKP??

Note the typical "E" of BRC Shed: WAP-4E. Its probably the only shed that religiously follows the RDSO directive to suffix "E" to airbrake-capable locos.

Thats bureaucracy for you; people do things without even knowing what the hell they are doing. In this case someone was probably told to get a photo of a loco and he/she went and got the first one that they could. Interestingly, the rake behind the WAG-1 looks like a passenger rake. I suppose we should be grateful they didn't post a pic of a WAP-5 hauled LHB Rajdhani in a freight ad.

Wow! This loco seems to be much better maintained than a regular IR loco. Certainly its owners seem to lavish a lot of care on it.

Is it not a sign indicating a special joint found in the Long/Continuous Welded (LWR/CWR) Rail segments?

Even Trackside hotels cook, Bata Wada, Roti, Chai etc on this coal. I can witness and say this Coal is very, very powerfull.

No, it's actually a very good view when you are sitting next to the window. When prepared for sleeping, the LB is just under the window, so again there is an excellent view. But in 1AC there is no corridor side window from the compartment, so no view at all on that side.
