Apurva (iti@vsnl.com)DETC = Diesel Electric Tower Car. This is a diesel hauled OHE maintenance vehicle with electric transmission. The 'Tower' is the hydraulically actuated platform on the roof that can be raised, lowered or even swung on the adjescent track. There is a dummy pantograph for alignment purpose.
