This loco is not out from DCW anyway. Ed seems to paint some of thier locos in this livery and design. I doubt whether ED has painted this loco or GOC, after some major overhaul

I had spotted this loco with the 2051 DR-MAO jan shatabdhi in Feb this year. Those days the loco was with ED. THe image is somewhere in the server!

Of late, ED seems to have lost their consistency in the liveries they paint on to their beasts. Some locos have yellow instead of the cream, some have different whiskers!!!

Please correct me if I am wrong but is ED not painting all its locos in the new and lousy yellow and red and something else liverly at the OH? Is this just out of DCW?

This is not a modified WAP1 but the first ever WAP4. After this loco, WAP4s got their own series, in which the first loco was #22001

Yes, this is used as a trip shed for locos hauling freights and for the RTM power of 2449/50 Goa Sampark Kranti Express. Probably, the power of KR1/2 used to be stabled here pre-monsoon.
