John Lacey tells me this is a special vehicle used either for passengers in times of heavy traffic, or as a goods van. Built for the Barsi Light Railway in the 1920s. interesting that it was still available for service as late as 1981.

Oops it was supposed to be "Steam Loco Shed". Also wonder why the EXIF says ISO400 ! It was at ISO800 . If it was at ISO400 I would not have been able to hold it steady.

Hmmm....that "Indian Railways" is new, it wasn't there abt an year back when i photographed the loco in the same livery.

Nice Capture Pavan! BSL locos seldom visit SBC area. The leading loco is the WAM style with portholes which are round. Somehow SBC looks really dry. It looks great now!
