Daytime pictures in sunny conditions usually require a very small exposure time. A 4 second exposure with f2.8 will completely saturate the picture. Also, there is really no way in which you can take even a 1/4 second exposure without shake if you do not have a tripod or rest your camera on some surface. If the object is moving at 100 km/hr, and you have no blur, the exposure time must have been very short (less than 1/500 sec probably), especially with f2.8. Just my 2 cents.
