@Anant - Single locos hauling freight on the KK line are as rare as mermaids. The graded section means that additional power is needed for climbing as well as braking. And as Colin says, you should never take a chance, especially while transporting chemicals in bulk.

I have travelled by trams in many cities, but CTC trams have an unequalled charm. 12A (Planetorium) and 36 (Kidderpore) were my favourite routes.
