Its TKD Loco and its confirmed from shed workers when i spotted it at TKD shed this January.

Great picture reminding of days gone by! I love the way people are standing on that cold morning; they seem to be just awestruck by the train and loco! its speed, its color, and its charm. I wish they had a camera too!!

This is a classic! This could be the Ganga Kaveri Exp. rake - it used have the green-yellow livery in the early 80s. Which other trains from Madras Central had this livery?

Wonderful, wonderful!! My fav train!! This pic was prob taken less than a year after 121Dn/122Up was introduced when it was still in its 13-16 coach avataar - all in this fantastic livery. The loco is most prob from TKD and it used to run all the way from Madras to Delhi, till MAS-BZA was electrified around 1980, from which time I used to be a rgular on this magnificent specimen of an IR Superfast.
