Not that rare either - There're quite a few from Raipur, and a couple from VSKP too.

A 16xxx series loco with an 'R' is rare sight indeed. Wonder why this one was rebuilt ...

This loco has bogies similar to a mail/express coach! Note the positioning of springs and suspension!

It is not really worth showing speed for this super crawler train. With 15 scheduled stops and a few more unscheduled stops, it officially takes 4 hr 25 minutes to cover the 221 km ERS-TVC journey. Usually it takes much more. On that day,it took 5 hours for the journey.

New coach and already the light for WC seems have become non-functional!

The coach has been rebuilt by the BPL workshop. Hence probably, the Non Alt might be the 'Non-Altered' end. Just guessing. And since rebuilding is not necessary next time, the coach need not be sent again to BPL. POH can be done at either Nagpur, Parel or Matunga workshops.

@@@ Alok, the coach belongs to CR and was numbered 041XX - can't recall exactly.

Are electrical Alternators present on both ends of coaches? If so, this coach might not have one at this end. Also, BPL's refusal to service this coach IS quite hilarious!! :-))
