Looks like a TKD WDM 2 or 3A.

Well, take a look at the bogie, Trimount alright, but there's something different about it...you can actually see the wheel very clearly, as compared to conventional WDMx. A WDS4x can be seen in the background behind the MG rakes. My guess is as good as anybody else's, with regard to the loco in question.

This most probably would be the 376 DN passenger between Delhi and Shahjehanpur. I joined as Assistant Engineer Bareilly on 21.12.1993 and this was the only train running on steam engine then. I have some very fond memories of footplating on steam engine on 376/375. Unfortunately, it got dieselised in my tenure itself, in 1994-95.

No, John. This is definitely a WDMx. The driver's cab and the railings at the ends of the radiator catwalk are clearly visible. You can also make out the flat front and the paint scheme of (I think) the long hood.

my take! it is a WDM2 whose short hood was damaged due to minor collision and GOC salvaged it for its own use. Don't quite know how it is hauling MG rakes.

Very much a WDM-2. Initially I thought it could be a jumbo modified to have a short nose but the chances are remote, as the windshield looks like a shoddy "aftermarket" job.

Surely for LKO Shatabdi as it used to have D to E change there but this was a regular feature on BPL or better say JHS Shatabdi in its initial days.

This loco is now a Barbie Doll. Check this pic taken at Ratlam in November 2005.
