why did they spend money to convert it to second class, they could have kept it as it is and charged second class fare for it. Funny ways!!

Yes Jimmy. I remember it all, even if it now is 7 years away. It looks the same to me, the same friendly people and

Why were the doors removed? If they were salvaged, why were they replaced with sheet metal?

From the picture, only the cabin (and the associated controls/electronics) seems damaged which should be easy to repair and replace. Why is it being condemned? May be we could have had first single cab WAP4!
