15_LHB_SG_Sleeper_fans.jpg

Dear Rabi,

Yes, this is an LHB Sleeper coach. However, this pic was clicked way back in May 2005 when the rake was lying in the Kandivli yard in Mumbai.

Soo close.... Perfect location, however it would have been better if the loco was at the place of the SLR. Did you use drive mode for this?

mayuram.yl1

The place was also called Mayavaram then. Everything about this pic is so nostalgic:
1. Mayavaram has been renamed Myladuturai (Mayavaram was Sanskrit and Myladuturai is Tamil)
2. Line to Karaikal is now closed
3. YL locos were light locos for small branch lines
4. What is the second coach. An MG coach with only two doors on a side? Must be very rare. Only MG AC coaches had them
And what a beautifull shot!!

It was worth going all the way for just this scene

Your capture of the side light on the stock is just great, Mohan!

OT! But statues out in open are disrespectful.
