I am humbled by the kind comments of fellow railfans, some of whom are also extremely talented photographers. The viaduct runs at an angle to the steep (and unstable) slope on which I was perched - that is why the track seems to be going away from the viewer.

Arvind Sir,

Currently the single arm signal is in working because only a single loop line is in opposite direction and after the commissioning of another two lines, new signal consisting two arms will be in use.
