PVS, Shanx, there are at least two gas-fired power plants in this area. The GVK's plant in Jegurupadu which is right after Kadiyam is on the side of the BZA-VSKP line. I visited the GVK's township couple of years ago where my cousin lives and is a big shot in the plant. The power plant in the picture is perhaps what Shanx has described. Do not miss the opportunity to snap some pictures here!

Good to note that CRJ now has a Loco Park as well. Where is this located? Near the Technical Training School grounds (Near Amladahi) or elsewhere? When was this inaugurated? Thanks for the pics.

Yes, it is a LGD WAP-4. I do not know the link between BBS and VSKP. But the VSKP-GNT link is LGD WAP-4.

I presume it's a LGD WAP-4 that's at the helm. Did the link change from a BZA WAM-4 to LGD WAP-4 once the train was extended to Bhubaneshwar?

Good picture with a strong human element.

Perfect composition. This is the best angle to capture a loco. Forceing the F stop to 2.6 would result in more even exposure.

Bizzy, the composition is good but the photo is dark. One of the reasons I can see is that the Exposure Bias Value has been reduced to -0.7 EV even when the light conditions are gray and overcast sky. In fact, it would have been better if you had left it at 0.0 EV. This would have properly exposed the shaded areas and added a bit of brightness to the picture. Furthermore, you could have reduced the bottom right rocky outcrop during picture composition.
