Deepak, Maralahalli is a non-commercial halt (only for passengers) just after Tyakal and 6 km before Bangarpet. It is basically to reduce the block section length between Tyakal and Bangarpet on the Bangalore-Chennai line. Posted by Pawan Koppa on 2007 Oct 20 18:00:28 +0000 |

Super Shot. As for Sid's question, remember that the camera was inside the train, and hence, it was stationary relative to the train. Of course, only a highly sensitive camera can follow the movement of its subject so quickly (and it is a good camera, EOS5D!). Put the 2 things together and you can see why the train has come out sharp. Posted by S Ashwin on 2007 Oct 20 17:18:46 +0000 |

Wow awesome. How did you do it? 1/8 seconds and the train you were travelling is not blurred but the people on the PF. Amazing work. Posted by Siddhartha Ganesh on 2007 Oct 20 04:11:00 +0000 |

Wonderful job Alok! At first I thought photos from some prison cell were put up in the gallery until I realised that it is insight into the future troubles of 3AC travel! Nevertheless, the warm interiors are a welcome change from the standard blue. Somewhat makes up for the lack of comfort! Posted by Karan Desai on 2007 Oct 20 03:59:33 +0000 |
