After the Cochin Harbour Terminus, here comes another master-piece (or master-pieces actually) by Jimmy.
Great work.

Reflection of bridge in water is adding a different effect to this beautiful capture.

LP's undergo route learning before they can start full fledged operations on any particular section. As a result of route learning, they know each and everything about the section. So such boards are not much of a concern since LP's know exactly where it is and they know where exactly to apply brakes.

Good lighting effects. Composition could have been improved. The pole seems to grow out of the mans head, which is a 'photo-spoiler' as the rest of the pic is really good.

Permanent speed restriction boards are pentagonal as in the picture above. On the Ratlam-Kota section I've observed that permanent speed restriction boards for mainline are preceded by a caution indicator board and the approaching maximum speed is also painted on the caution indicator so that the driver has advance warning of at least one kilometer in which to slow down.

The Cochin State Railways - Remains of Ernakulam Terminus

Jimmy, combined with the presentation you made at BNC, this really transports us back to the days of glory of the Cochin State. Though, it is indeed heartwrenching to see the deterioration now.
