What I was referring to was that normally two different signals are not provided on the same post irrespective of whether they are in the same or opposite directions.Though unlikely,it is possible for drivers from either direction to misread the aspect especially in semaphore territory.

Correct Khalid. The advance starter is for Jammu bound trains and home signal is for trains entering Chakki Bank stn.

This is very misleading to passengers. Rake sharing is an operational issue and need not be displayed to confuse passengers. If I were to go from ASK to AJJ should I board this train which will go via MYS,SBC, Marikuppam. May be it would take few days
