Very informative and rare capture of heavy bridge work, nice to see a 100 yr bridge get a facelift.

Riveting Going on, the rivets are put in burning charcoal, until glowing hot by the guy on the left and passed on to the guy with either a pneumatic or hydraulic riveter on the right and the hot rivet in inserted directly into the superstructure.

Table 19A - SER - 1977TT

the 5 min stop( mentioned above) at BBS was actually 2 min . I have travelled in this train upto MAS .It used to have similar 2 or 5 min stop at BZA between WAT & MAS

one can see nonstop run of 142 coromondal between WAT To Howrah with only 5 min stoppage in Bhubhneswar .No stop at Kharagpur

Passing over this bridge always has beeen a thrill for me !!! Around 2-3 minutes on the bridge !!! Nice shot Jimmy !!! Refreshing and beautiful.
