There ARE 6 flags in the photo. 2 of the JS drivers, one from the guard of the trains of the left, the other from the driver of the train on the right. The 5th flag is that by the Khalasi standing on the ground on the left, while the 6th is by the SM/ASM who is in the doorway of the train on the right. At every station, staff are supposed to show the green flag to BOTH sides of the train.

@ Vicci : The other train on the left is 0122 MAO CSTM SUP EXP with KYN WDM 3D & on the right the train is MAO DIVA Passanger with ERS WDM 3A

Simply mavelous. Excellent photo. Great landscape with a train on the bridge. If only the Pune gang had done this trip some six months ago, we could have had an IRFCA calendar for 2009 with the theme of Trains on Bridges consisting of 12 photos from Konkan Railway !!!

The 6th flag can be seen in the 5th coach of the right side train....
