As pointed by Ashwin, I too think Jawahar was painted in haste. The paint job could have got more better. Posted by Ranjeet Ramaswamy Iyer (guest) on 2009 Jun 01 03:48:17 +0000 |

22005 looks very dirty on its sides. And the numbering and the loco class are painted very small which makes its front profile look extremely plain!!! Overall it doesn't match anywhere near the paint job of the 'Sapthagiri' 22001. Ironically both belonging to AJJ! Posted by Ashwin (guest) on 2009 Jun 01 02:25:46 +0000 |

22005 was heading the Alappuzha passenger on 29th evening... I saw it at ERS, while I was traveling from ALLP to IJK by 6042... Posted by Binai Sankar on 2009 May 31 19:02:55 +0000 |
I think this type of cap is prevalent in Central Asia. I was presented a similar one when I visited Tajikistan last year. Bright coloured velvet are hallmarks of such caps.
