This can be easily ranked as one of the 'crispiest and clearest' portrait of a WCAM loco on the IRFCA server. We can even notice the design of the loco pilot's shirt!! Great work... Ashwin Rao... deserves to get 'upgraded' to 'first class', by its sheer merit.

It is entrance of the bridge, very elegantly build and looks like a part of some fort from near. On the top is written Ghaghra in Hindi in big bold letters. Due to monstrous nature of this river, all the bridges on this have been difficult.

what is that structure before the bridge? is that a gate kind of thing that is normally there in some of the older road bridges?

We may see WCAM-3 in AC Mode next year , but forget about seeing a WAP or WAM till next 2 years atleast beacuse for a WAP/M to run all the way the right from PF # 1 of Pune station to Pf # 13 of Mumbai CSTM , the whole line has to be AC which will obviously need time....By the way , AC fication of Pune-Vangani is the first step after that we may expect WAP/M to come in more 1 to 2 years. Correct me if I am wrong :)
