No Vivek, I am asking because WCG2 can't be used anymore for freights on the Mumbai-Pune section, since the Kalyan Goods yard has gone into AC, and CR doesn't allow any sought of freight operations through the passenger platforms at Kalyan. Hence this query.

WCM 2 hauling Koyna Express

Sometime back when ER started usage of 3000 volts DC,twelve DC electric locos of EM 2 Class were obtained from English Electric/ Vulcan Foundry. These were re-wired for CR's 1500 volts system, and sent to Mumbai area, where they worked for years ( BBVT-PA/ IGP sections ).I saw one at BBVT in 1998,and I was amazed that it featured push-button pantograph handling. These were of full 3600 hp like EM 1s ( WCM 1s ) and Hitachi built EM 3s ( WCM 3s ).

Alright Mr. Rohit Kapoor, you are wrong in a sense because Jamalpur is not in West Bengal but is in Bihar. Also, WDM-6 is a very rare class of loco from BWN shed which is not used for any freight or passenger service. It is primarily used for shunting purposes around BWN station. It is highly likely that the WDM-6 loco is here at JMP for maintenance purposes as JMP has a large workshop for diesel locos.
