For such puny loads, the lead and banking loco must be running on the first few notches. The weight of the locomotives is much greater than that of the 'train.'

All the stations between Nanjangud and Chamarajanagar are Halt stations as depicted in the TT as well as in Samit's atlas.

The Biligirangan Hills (or BR Hills as Anamitra has mentioned), together with the Male Mahadeshwar Hills and the Nilgiris are supposed to be the spot where the Western and Eastern Ghats meet.
