A strange thing was happening here. Neither the Pooja nor the Swaraj had a halt at Rajpura Jn. At first, we thought that we were put on the platform line to let the Pooja go through, considering it was nine hours late.
But, the Pooja came and stood there on the mainline right next to us. We got the starter and were allowed to proceed!!

HT stands for High Tone. There are two horns in most of the locos. High Tone and Low Tone.

Yes very much. All the coaches have these plastic covering on the Name plate missing.

Vivek - Is this train going to overtake your rake, or is it going to stop at some other platform ahead ? Or is it going to wait on the main line for your train to start first ?

What are the diagonal white and red stripes on the front of the loco ? Are they indicative of some feature or are just for cosmetic looks ?
I have seen similar red and white stripes on disel locos in the United States. Here the stripes formed an inverted V shape on the front of the loco.

Seems like the glass covering the name plate is broken/missing.
