Kharad , the neutral zone structure on the OHE above the turnouts is similar to the one at Diva and AC-DC locos face no problem in negotiating those turnouts at Diva . I wonder why such restriction is imposed here . Posted by Aadil S on 2012 Feb 10 14:35:51 +0000 |

I've seen boards stating "Unwired Turnouts". But does this one imply that the OHE over points 103, 104 is not charged, and probably serves as a "unusable" Neutral Section due to the restricted speed over them resulting in a probable stalling?? Agree with you Sachin. The WCAM-1s and 2s will be sorely missed. I have mixed feelings regarding these AC locos. After being used to seeing these workhorses (WCAMx) for my entire life, it feels extremely weird to suddenly see the WAPs in Mumbai. Somehow they just don't seem to fit in!
