The opposite end, i.e. Udhampur is equally calm and peaceful. All the madness & hustle-bustle that is so typical of IR lies between these two ;-)

So calm and humble ending after all those busy stations !!! Very few trains start from this end !!! Mainly Mumbai - Kanyakumari , Bangalore City - Kanyakumari , Chennai - Kanyakumari , Himasagar Express , Thirukkural Express !!!

Varuna has an additional CC and/or a 3A these days attached at rake front or rear due to rush of AC pax during summers. The regular CC is mostly in between.
