These are old coaches modified to carry motor vehicles - the class of coaches is NMG (new modified goods).

this is an automobile carrier rake.the vehicles are driven from one end of the rake to the other.(note the doors at the end of all coaches open).Toyota Kirloskar Motors(TKM)have their factory at bidadi.

Even Trackside hotels cook, Bata Wada, Roti, Chai etc on this coal. I can witness and say this Coal is very, very powerfull.

This type of curved flat car / Wagon is basically used to transport Army tanks form Chennai or Khadkai to the North. In the Konkan Rail in the Ro Ro syatem the flat wagon holding Trucks is totally flat. Sunny.

Thanks Vicky. Now people will belive that there was a chronic water shortage.It was necessary to have a complete water train.

It says 18745 Litres. Thats close to 19,000 litres. As a Joke, at three litres per day for your two wheeler this Petrol Tanker would last you for 6,333 Days. You can calculate the rest.The only problem is that Petrol cant be stored for a long time.

Yes ! Water, Water for life. I remember that in a past major draught the Railways used to dispatch a whole Goods Train full of 60 Tankers to supply water to the unfortunate people. Green Forests indiscriminate Enviortmental Destruction is the root of less rainfall.
