Sunny, if you look at the far end of this coach, you can see a door (near the lamp post). This is the entry for the guard.

Also, this color scheme for the Gen Car is deliberate. It can be used freely with the Rajdhani as well as Shatabdi trains. Better than having a completely mismatched Generator car...

The Generator car has been in grey livery with red and blue strips so that it can be used both in Rajdhani and Shatabdi Rakes, therefore easy to match!

Sorry, by mistake I uploaded a few photographs without the caption (the filenames somehow didn't get captured as captions)...but have re-loaded these photographs. In any case, this is the LTT- Madgaon Jan Shatabdi...and I must say, for the cheap fare (Rs 197 or so) between LTT and Madgaon (around 580 kms), this seating rake is simply too good.

The X & the Red light on the rear means that it is the Last Vehicle, which happens to also be the Gaurds Office / Cabin. Here it is only a toal Generator I dont see any entry for the Gaurd.

This NG Narrow Gauge coach has 4 windows so I presume 12 people can be seated.

The NG Narrow Gauge Coach has 8 windows. So I presume 24 people can be seated in one coach.
