Hello,
I am a Railway Enthusiast and also,an IRFCA Enthusiast...I love these sleek LHB-Alstom designed carriages,but buffers are there only in the ends...intra-train couplings are manifest in the form of the American type tightlock...

one more thing in the LHB train the Guard and the ac technical stuff very much remain connected to the train as the Luggage area is in the end which is not there in the normal train

Sunny, if you look at the far end of this coach, you can see a door (near the lamp post). This is the entry for the guard.

Also, this color scheme for the Gen Car is deliberate. It can be used freely with the Rajdhani as well as Shatabdi...

The Generator car has been in grey livery with red and blue strips so that it can be used both in Rajdhani and Shatabdi Rakes, therefore easy to match!

The X & the Red light on the rear means that it is the Last Vehicle, which happens to also be the Gaurds Office / Cabin. Here it is only a toal Generator I dont see any entry for the Gaurd.
