This apparatus for token exchange is only ring instead of usual Racket shape. or is this one made of PVC/Nylon & wood type that is flexible? also is that the permanent speed restriction board on the platform behind station name?

The diamond crossing with the BG was once with the MG towards Assam. Brings back fond memories of taking the train to Siliguri, and then (probably on the next day) aboard the A T Mail to Bihar.

Yes train goes backward down the slope 6 times.
This operation on Z-loop takes around 4-5 minutes.
Yes mostly the change over staff is a part of the crew except at 1 or 2 spots where we see dedicated staff with small cabin.
