Actually ur right dilip.Bisale ghats is traversed by rail and is part of the "malnad region" also. Now i recollect that i had been to the Bisale ghat by bike since my friend stays here.and remember seeing tracks(should be M.G)back then.

Wonderful pictures of the new train. We may have to wait for few more months for full daylight pictures of the ghats . A slight correction - The rail route traverses through the "Bisale Ghats" whereas the NH takes the Shiradi Ghats. Dilip Setlur

Thanks guys!! And all the time bizzy and me were at the timetable,seeing how late we were running.Every minute running late,our spirits elated with joy!,and finally at saklespur i shook up bizzy who was takin a small nap to greet him good news. "The setting was perfect>2hrs and 15mins late at saklespur." Dawn was to greet us in 40 mins time!
