John M: Old tunnel still very much there, Jay. I mentioned it being expanded to fit the Expway - that was wrong. there are two separate tunnels, and the old tunnel being used for DN road traffic...correct.

From Jay B: John, Thanks a lot for this sketch. New NH4 cuts right across the reversing station! Also looks like the old catch siding embankment ridge has also been partially cut for the NH4 alignment. From the sketch, it looks like the old tunnel #24 is being used for the expressway down road traffic? I think you had mentioned that it was closed. Please confirm. Thanks again.

I am wondering how does an electric engine come all the way until surat from MAS? Isn't the stretch between Jalgaon and Udhna a non electrified section?
