BRC had two seperate railway systems, one BG on BBCIR network and other on NG. The present NG station at Pratapnagar was the headquarters of GBSR (Gaekwad Baroda State Railway).

I never knew Palakkad has such a beautiful station till I saw Deepak's snap a few weeks ago. I use this station atleast once in 2 months, but always after sunset or before sunrise, so never got the oppurtunity to admire her beauty. The suprise factor is that i belong to Palakkad
