The assistant loco pilot has opened the Centrifugal Drain Cock.Hence,the smoke-like emmision which is actually moisture trapped by the centrifuge of the compressor.Newer generation of locos have an Auto-Unloader valve which opens periodically to empty the drain reservoir.

I think only the 6A/6B have Bo-Bo-Bo arrangement. The 6C has a Co-Co arrangement.
