Whats the green refraction of light beside the bottom of the coach, Is it the Khalasi holding the green torch??

Earlier it used to have the title "Pallava King", although it is not seen in this picture. This is given in Hughes (Vol 4). I had seen this name on the loco in 1967.

The loco looks so cute and innocent with its "BIG" eyes. It seems he is suprised to see a camera pointing towards him!!
