Many people I met dislike this color scheme. Well from close quarters it may seem bad, but nothing bad really on snap..in fact the photo is exciting.

When I was there about 2 weeks ago, NJP-Siliguri Jn was broad gauge but not yet opened. The rails were shiny from works trains though, so it can't be long now. The 2' gauge on this section was also closed but apparently complete. Metre gauge on this section has been removed but odd disconnected sections remain.
The metre gauge has been realigned to the west side of the station at Siliguri Jn (now a MG terminus) and is in use.

Its really a kool livery . Most of the locos from TKD and LDH will now support this livery from WDP-1,s to WDM-3c,s..

this is the normal ED livery. but look at the sorry state of affairs on the face of this handsome loco. really and clearly, IR has no idea that its locos are real beauties if they manage to keep em neat.

What is the status of BG conversion between New Jalpiguri and Alipur Duar. And the doubling between Alipur Duar and Guwhati?
