A Diesel loco puffing its Chhuk chhuk chhuk chhuk and smoking especially on a single line has a charm totally undescribable in words!

Great picture - colours have been brought out vividly. This practice of running a goods train in the path of an express was mooted years ago by Bharat Vohra's late father when he was in BRC Div.They ran a goods in front of the Gujarat Queen from BRC and it reached ADI a full 25 minutes ahead of the Queen!

reminds me of our (shashanka, vivek manvi & myself) railfanning session at okhla in 2005 december when i had taken this same shot of the AK raj with a BRC wap4E #22561 at the same angle n location.

This "delhi livery" is common here. The last car is the old model ICF-made power car while the rest(trailers) are ICF made "MMTS-type" new coaches. They are technically compatible to be coupled/Mu'ed.

The fact that the coach is just after the loco makes me believe that it is not meant for travelers. Normally extra coaches are attached along with regular coaches of that class of accomodation.
