This rebuild is a Gooty initiative? Only Gooty has redone their locos like this. I think the dynamic brake grid is on top of the SH. There seems to be a GM type radiator fan on SH of this loco which maybe the louver for the dynamic brake? I wonder why we are playing around with the tried and tested American Alco designs than run succesfully through out the world. Siddharth - The MPS for the ADI-NDLS line is 105. It doesn't make a difference if the loco is LHF or SHF. In any case, on the return trip, the loco will be SHF. Posted by Abhijit Lokre on 2007 Jun 18 03:32:02 +0000 |
