This rebuild is a Gooty initiative? Only Gooty has redone their locos like this. I think the dynamic brake grid is on top of the SH. There seems to be a GM type radiator fan on SH of this loco which maybe the louver for the dynamic brake? I wonder why...
This rebuild is a Gooty initiative? Only Gooty has redone their locos like this. I think the dynamic brake grid is on top of the SH. There seems to be a GM type radiator fan on SH of this loco which maybe the louver for the dynamic brake? I wonder why we are playing around with the tried and tested American Alco designs than run succesfully through out the world. Hope no more such rebuilds are made to the beautiful ALCO design

A truly pathetic job on the majestic shakti.
