Passenger trains have no option but to wait in a loopline if the freight rake is too long to fit in a small loopline... but not very sure if this is the exact reason.

look at the difference in cleanliness....while the KZJ looks so fresh pune's looks like another Gazi loco.and do a passenger train waits for a goods to cover it??

Ramesh,
you are correct, old WDM-2's of KYN are derated as WDM-2S's to augument KYN WDS-6's and CLA WDS-4's in shunting ops.
