Look at the WAM-4/WAG-5 cab.One good thing is - A person standing/sitting in the cab will get to see the tracks not the sky & stars.

Is the focal length really 300 mm, or is the EXIF incorrect? A 300 mm lens on your DSLR would have been of formidable size and weight.

The moment has been captured well. Even a colour shot would be nice. If you want B/W perhaps you should go slow on the toneing after desaturation. Here detail goes into black.
