I, too, am curious about the obstructing pillar. Has this been shifted or removed altogether? How many operational platforms does the station currently have?

It was earlier mentioned that the "culprit" was an overbridge's pillar which came up in a place which blocked the tracks. How was the problem solved?

It is usually difficult to take pictures from TVC as there are many RPF prowling around. I have always been too scared to take my digicam to the station.
