A new type of coal wagon that I saw a few examples of at Ghodadongri on the NGP-ET section. The wagon can hold a payload of 70 tonnes and itself weighs 22 tonnes. Thats a total of 92 tonnes on 4 axles. An axle load of 23 tonnes. Note the increased height
A new variant to BOXN? BOXNLW rake awaits departure. The entire rake had BOXNLW wagons, sporting a lovely green band on top ()

Another "Desi" caboose modified from BCXC wagons (Atleas that is what is written on the wagon!). All these experiments are done by the coaching centre at Ernakulam. Will we see a caboose made from a passenger coach soon?
This is not an ancient coach from a railway museum. This looks like a BCNA modified into a caboose. Fancy traveling in one of these? The poor guard can now travel like a Maharajah
