A BBN class milk tanker attached at the tail of 2129 Down Pune – Howrah Azad Hind Express. The tanker is obviously optimized for haulage with passenger trains – twin pipe brakes and electric tail lamp with “PAT-B” electrical terminal block. There seems to be no LV board on this wagon. Can anyone explain the purpose of the two tubes that originate near the bogie and end up somewhere in the frame? Could there be an axle powered refrigeration system? This wagon does not originate at Pune but gets attached somewhere along the route – any idea where? Nagpur Jn. 2006-12-10

The photo suggests that they could be the BP and FP pipes in all likelyhood. Its attached to a High-Capacity Parcel Van. Als, are both the ends configured in a similar manner with the electric tail lamp with “PAT-B” electrical terminal block??
