This is the soutbound Rajdhani that departs Ratnagiri at 0930 hrs, while the northbound Netravati arrives at the same station at 1000 hrs - so it Nivasar not one the places where the two may cross?

In you case, you were probably on the soutbound Mandovi (RN departure 1315), which would meet the northbound Rajdhani (RN arrival 1350) near Nivasar.

Netravathi-Rajdhani crossing happens at Nivasar? Last month I traveled in Mandovi and we had crossing with Rajdhani at Nivasar!
